Erste Bank gives its employees extra financial benefits

In view of the rising costs of living due to the high inflationary environment and the drastic increase in energy prices, Erste Bank is supporting its employees with extra benefits – the financial institution announced that it will provide a one-time support in September to all employees whose full-time salary does not exceed HUF one million gross.

For wages below HUF 500,000, this means HUF 300,000 gross, i.e. a benefit equivalent to at least 60 percent of the monthly salary, while for salaries between HUF 500,000 and HUF 1 million, it means HUF 200,000 gross.

Erste’s management also decided that, planned for next year, bring half of the double-digit salary increase in advance by Januarya, while the next round of wage increases will be in July.

CIB Bank also announced something similar on Monday:

The employee share program also started at Erste in the fall. In September, all eligible employees received a share bonus worth 350 euros from the securities of the Austrian parent bank. The bank also assumed the tax and contribution burdens related to the share award.

In addition to all this, the bank’s loyalty program, Erste Care, continues to operate. Within this, as time progresses, the range of optional benefits increases in four stages, all of which are built around fulfilling and helping colleagues in their private lives. One of its elements is free time, which includes, in addition to the days off provided on top of the regular annual leave, creative leave, which means 1, 2, or 4 weeks of extra leave as the milestones progress. Another important element is health insurance, and later its extension to the employee’s family as well.
