Asops Kapolri Inspector General Agung Setya said that his party would conduct a joint study of PSSI and PT Liga Indonesia Baru to discuss various aspects, especially comfort and safety.
“We will sit together with PSSI and the League organizers,” Agung told the media crew.
“The National Police will prepare a new concept for organizing a better and more comfortable league for spectators, organizers and clubs so that a new era in Indonesian football can take place which is more advanced and classy,” he explained.
The synergy with the police continues to be built so that football in the country will be more professional, comfortable, safe and produce international achievements. Previously, PSSI also collaborated with the National Police in forming the Anti-Mafia Football Task Force which aims to eradicate match fixing.
“From my experience, if we want to fix something better, we can’t do it alone. We have to synergize and collaborate with other parties,” said Erick Thohir.
