Společnost Elvira opened a showroom in its headquarters in Prague 5 – Hlubočepy focused on the presentation and practical demonstrations of 3D technologies. The company’s goal is to present to existing and potential customers a complete cycle of additive production from 3D scanning through 3D modeling to 3D printing, which allows you to change the established practice and increase the efficiency of their development and production processes.
Today, the field of additive production is so wide and dynamically evolving that it is no problem to make the wrong decision when choosing technologies. The concept of the showroom is therefore built on the fact that those interested have the opportunity to get acquainted in one place with a wide range of 3D technologies, products and materials, their advantages but also limits. Based on specific requirements, the showroom staff will help them choose the right technology, recommend the ideal technological procedure and make a test copy to verify the required result. And to avoid costly mistakes right from the start. ”
The showroom with more than 20 products on an area of 120 square meters provides visitors with a comprehensive overview of currently available methods of 3D printing, 3D scanning and 3D modeling software. The following technologies are on display:
- 3D tisk – 3D printers built on seven technologies and a thousand available materials, including plastics, waxes, metals and other additives from the manufacturers 3D Systems, BCN3D, Omni3D, Peopoly and others,
- 3D skenování – 3D scanners for scanning small and large objects or objects with high demands on detail, including eviXscan 3D or Revopoint 3D and SW for quality control and reverse engineering,
- 3D modelování – software solutions for parametric and organic modeling and print model preparation from ZW3D, Geomagic or Simplify 3D.
Elvira’s comprehensive approach to customers and interested parties is then completed by 3D services, which enable the use of the presented 3D technologies in the form of a service. They create a custom 3D model from the documents by scanning or modeling and print them on a 3D printer. Organizations that need 3D technology often rely on this method on an occasional basis and it is not worth investing in their own equipment.
