Electricity for households is 6.5 percent more expensive as of today

The price of electricity for households and small customers is 6.5 percent higher as of today.

The calculations of the Energy Agency show that the average price per kilowatt-hour is now 8,144 dinars.

At the end of July, the Council of the Energy Agency approved the decision on the price of electricity for guaranteed supply.

The Minister of Mining and Energy, Zorana Mihajlović, previously stated that Mrsave for electricitywith the announced price increase, for average consumption will be between 280 and 320 dinars higher.

According to her, the Regulation on energy-vulnerable customers has been prepared, which will enable those citizens who are not socially vulnerable according to the criteria of social institutions, but have low incomes, to have the right to state assistance to pay electricitygas or heat energy.
