Electric vehicles are driven 29 percent less than the average internal combustion car in the US

The average owner of a three-year-old electric car in America drives about 14,579 km per year, according to a new iSeeCars study. That’s 29 percent less than the average owner of an internal combustion vehicle drives in a year.

Even the owners of the most driven three-year-old electric vehicles on the road today drive less than the 20,532 km that the average owner of a three-year-old internal combustion vehicle drives.

The top four electric vehicles by average annual distance driven are Tesla models, with its large SUV, the Model X, topping the list at 16,702 kilometers per year, according to Jutarnji.hr.
