Early USE-2022 period may be canceled – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

The head of Rosobrnadzor Anzor Muzaev held a traditional meeting with the parents of schoolchildren, where he answered the most pressing questions – about the upcoming exams.

Perhaps, in the terms of the Unified State Exam-2022, changes will be made based on the situation with the coronavirus, which will develop by March. This was stated at a meeting with the parents of schoolchildren on Thursday, the head of Rosobrnadzor Anzor Muzaev. Recall that now the draft order on the timing of the exam has three periods: early – from March 21 to April 15, the main one – from May 27 to July 2 and an additional one – from September 5 to 20.

– We expected the epidemiological situation to be calm in autumn, but we see: this is not happening. Most likely, there will be problems in the spring, ”said Anzor Muzaev. – If this situation continues, most likely, all early exams will be postponed to the main wave.

But, according to Muzaev, the experience of covid years has shown that it is quite possible to do with two “waves”.

– Two waves with reserve days are enough for everyone, – assured Muzaev. “In addition, we are already opening examination points in hospitals and even at home, if necessary. The main thing is to submit an application on time. Nothing bad will happen if there is no early wave.

From January 1, 2022, the government decree No. 440 expires, within the framework of which it was possible to vary the number of exams or even cancel them in connection with the coronavirus. Therefore, graduates, get ready: to receive a certificate, you will again need to take the Unified State Exam in basic mathematics.

“Our position is to return basic mathematics as a compulsory subject for those who receive a certificate and have not chosen it for admission to a university,” Muzaev explained.

Those who are now in the 9th grade should return to normal life. Rosobrnadzor expects to conduct final certification for ninth-graders – OGE – in a traditional, dock-like format.

– When, due to covid, ninth-graders did not take the OGE, we noticed that, in general, the motivation of schoolchildren to study decreased, – said Muzaev. – Last year it was decided to hold two compulsory final exams – Russian and mathematics, and two tests in elective subjects. Motivation, of course, increased, but not everyone reacted to the preparation for the exams with due attention. Our proposal, which has already been sent to the Ministry of Education, is to return to the pre-covid order, that is, to take the OGE in full: 2 compulsory subjects – Russian and mathematics, and 2 – optional. I would ask all teachers and students to prepare for just this.

By the way, the current tenth graders also have the opportunity to pass the Unified State Exam – ahead of schedule, already this academic year. But in case of failure, retake only a mandatory subject.

To obtain a certificate in 2022, you will again need to take the exam in basic mathematics

– There is an opportunity to pass the USE ahead of schedule in the 10th grade in the order of the exam, – Anzor Muzaev commented. – But the student must have satisfactory grades in all subjects. And for the subjects that he decided to take ahead of schedule, it is necessary to confirm the school: that the program has been mastered according to an individual plan and completely. But I will note – this is always a risk. If the elective exam “fails” – it will not be possible to retake it in the 11th grade. For compulsory subjects, there is such a second chance.

Muzaev stressed: for those who just want to try their hand, there are Centers for assessing the quality of education in almost every region.
