This was reported to BNS by the company’s press service, noting that the flight was supposed to take place from July 26 to July 28. Ticket sales for a special flight started a few weeks ago, but due to the low interest of passengers in Latvia to travel along this route, this week the company decided to cancel a direct flight from Riga to Saaremaa.
At the same time, a one-way flight on the Helsinki-Saaremaa-Helsinki route will take place on July 27-29, and interest in it is still high, Tallink noted.
Latvian residents this summer have the opportunity to make a sea voyage along the route Riga-Aland Islands. Since interest in this trip remains consistently high, scheduled flights will take place – the first of them is scheduled for July 18-20.
