On the occasion of the panel today at New York Comic Con dedicated to Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, 21st animated film and 2nd to merge into the era of Dragon Ball Super with history, character design and dialogues by Akira Toriyama, was unveiled on first trailer which confirms the technical and graphic nature in CGI of the project and some details about the story.

With the presence, among others, of Akio Iyoku (chief editor of V-Jump, magazine of the manga of Dragon Ball Super) e Norihiro Hayashida (manufacturer of Dragon Ball Z: The Resurrection of F) we learn that the story takes place 10 years after the defeat of Majin Buu and that will also appear Whis e Vegeta (although at the moment they haven’t shown up yet).
Relatively to cast, they come back Find, Karin, From, Broly da Dragon Ball Super: Broly (while training with Goku) and it is revealed that the new characters are named Gamma 1 e Gamma 2. We can watch them below in this one gallery in their new ones character design:

What do we know about the new film by Dragon Ball Super?
This is the 21st animated film considering the entirety of the franchise and the 2nd to merge into the era of Dragon Ball Super, who sees Akira Toriyama himself original story, to the dialogues and al character design together with Toei Animation. The film will come out in the halls in 2022, while a western date is not yet known.
The project will boast components CGI largely departing from previous cinematic experiences. Even Toriyama-sensei himself in the announcement comment had anticipated that the new animated film would have eexplored territories never seen before in terms of artistic aesthetics.
The plans linked to the new film by Dragon Ball Super were started in 2018, really first of the output from Dragon Ball Super: Broly (released in 2018 in Japan; in 2019 in Italy), and will have the objective of tell a story full of spectacular fights capable of responding toenthusiasm generated by the success of the previous one.

Dragon Ball Super: manga and anime
Dragon Ball Super is a Japanese animated series, produced by Toei Animation, broadcast in Japan on Fuji Television which arises as a sequel to the defeat of Majin Buu. The series ended with episode number 131 (A miraculous conclusion! Goodbye Goku, until the day we meet again!).
The edition Italian of the anime, acquired by Mediaset and broadcast on Italia 1, it began on 23 December 2016 and was completed with the last episode aired on 29 September 2019.
The sequel direct of the anime series is the 20th film animated of franchise, Dragon Ball Super: Broly released on February 28, 2019 with Koch Media Italia e Anime Factory.
A new film animated will arrive in Japanese cinemas in 2022. It is the 21st film for the entire series and the 2nd dedicated to Dragon Ball Super. Akira Toriyama is actively working on the characters and dialogues.
The manga version is made monthly, conceived and scripted by Akira Toriyama and designed by Toyotaro. The manga is serialized on V-Jump (Shueisha) from 20 June 2015 and has currently reached chapter 76, with the first 72 writings collected in 16 volumes. The manga is currently facing the unpublished narrative arc of “Granola, the Survivor”.
