The aim of drafting amendments to the plan is to create a planning basis for the arrangement and construction of wind turbines (within the electricity infrastructure), in the part which defines the number and power of individual wind turbines, in a way to enable the realization of the plan by modern technologies. The report on the strategic assessment of the Environmental Plan will be prepared by an expert team composed of persons with licenses of the appropriate profession required for a comprehensive analysis of the elements of the strategic assessment.

The deadline for drafting the report is 120 days from the day the Decision was published in the Official Gazette of the City of Pancevo on March 17. Funds for the preparation of the report will be provided by Wellbury-Bela Anta doo Belgrade.

As stated in the Decision, the goal for which the Strategic Environmental Assessment of the Amendments to the Plan is being prepared is to adopt criteria for determining the possibility of significant environmental impacts through the implementation of the planning document.

Wind park Bela Anta is one of the numerous projects that are being developed on the territory of the city of Pancevo. According to the data of the Electric Network of Serbia, a large number of wind power plants and solar parks with a total capacity of more than 12 GW are being developed in our country.
