DNA’s 5g network expanded to new locations

DNA announces that its 5g network has expanded to four new locations: Asikkala, Merikarvia, Raseborg and Uusikaupunki.

In Asikkala, a 5g network has been built on the southeast side of the canal in Vääksy, in Merikarvia in the church village area, in Raseborg on the eastern and southern neighboring areas of Karjaa city center and in Uusikaupunki on the Santtion and Janhua areas.

According to DNA, the 5g network is currently being expanded, especially in Espoo, Forssa, Helsinki city center, Hämeenlinna, Jyväskylä, Kokkola, Lahti, Pori and Rauma. During the late summer, expansion work is planned to continue in Kirkkonummi, Porvoo, Raseborg, Seinäjoki and Vaasa, among others.

In total, DNA says that its 5g services are already available in a total of 108 locations. At the same time, however, it is noted that coverage coverage varies widely: in some localities, the network is only very local.

The situation of DNA’s 5g network in its own residential area can be checked from the operator’s offer from the coverage map.
