Denis Alibec committed it especially in overtime of the first half of the duel between Universitatea Craiova and Farul Constanța, from round number 8 of the play-off. The attacker lost his temper and, from behind, elbowed Ștefan Vlădoiu in the back of the head. Referee Andrei Chivulete didn’t think twice when he saw the striker’s gesture: he put his hand in his pocket and immediately took out the red card. Dissatisfied with the decision, Denis Alibec did not calm down and was one step away from jumping to the “central”. Fortunately, Gică Hagi’s footballer could finally be calmed down and left the field, without even looking at the manager of the Constanta team. Visibly displeased, Gică Hagi looked towards his student and shook his head in disappointment.

In addition to the fact that Farul Constanța could lose precious points in the away game with Universitatea Craiova, the elimination of Denis Alibec will also have consequences in the last two stages!
