Digital budgets in Serbia in 2022 increased by more than 15%

The Digital Day 2023 conference was held in Belgrade, under the slogan For Better Web. The first impression, which emerges after the participants listened to the lecturers and panelists of the conference, is that today’s Internet space, in which we do business and spend more and more time, is flawed, but there is also room for further growth and development, improvement, inclusiveness and support when creativity, ideas and initiatives are in question.

Đorđe Bukinac from the GroupM agency presented the results of the IAB AdEx report for 2022 on the state of digital advertising in Serbia and Europe.

During the last year, funds allocated in Serbia for digital advertising amounted to over 83 million euros, with a recorded annual growth of 15.5%.

Investments in social and video are still leading, Local Display recorded investment growth for the first time in two years, but it is still a fact that investments per capita are among the lowest in Europe. In Serbia, this amount is slightly more than 12 euros, while the European average is 115 euros.
