It will be DigiPlex ‘second campus in Denmark in line with Digiplex’ growth strategy in the Nordic markets.

DigiPlex has been granted a building permit to build a campus with five data centers that make use of water cooling, and there will also be an opportunity to recover surplus heat for utilization in the existing district heating system. DigiPlex has secured enough renewable energy to support the development

In line with DigiPlex‘sustainability strategy, most of the water demand for cooling will come from wells, and DigiPlex has also agreed to establish an artificial lake for collecting rainwater while the pool will be able to function as a storm water pool for the benefit of the local community.

“We see great interest in sustainable data centers in the Nordic region, and therefore we have invested in additional land in Denmark and just a month ago we were able to publish the same in Norway. With these new land holdings, we will be able to quickly meet the needs of Hyperscalers, both local and international companies, to expand their data center capacity with ultra-sustainable and cost-effective colocation, ”says Wiljar Nesse, CEO of DigiPlex.

“We now have the crucial agreements in place in relation to electricity, water and building permits, so we are ready to start the construction of our new campus in Høje-Taastrup, and we are already in discussion with a number of potential international customers. ”

“We are very pleased to be able to welcome DigiPlex in Høje-Taastrup municipality. The new data center campus will not only bring new jobs to the municipality, but also add value and contribute to the municipality’s sustainable development by being an important part of the infrastructure. DigiPlex has promised to contribute to the construction of a new storm basin as well as upgrading local roads and establishing new cycle paths, something that the local community will be able to benefit greatly from, ”says Michael Ziegler, mayor of Høje-Taastrup.
