Died actress from the TV series “Four Tankers and a Dog” Barbara Krafftuvna


Polish film, TV and cabaret actress Barbara Krafftuvna has died. The actress was well known to our viewers: in particular, Pani Krafftuvna played Honorata in the series “Four Tankers and a Dog” and Camilla, Pacheco’s stepmother, in “The Manuscript Found in Zaragoza”.

How transmits Interia Fiml, Krafftuvna died at the age of 94 on the evening of January 23rd. The information was confirmed by the National Actors Association. The cause of death was not named.

Barbara Krafftuvna was born on December 5, 1928 in Warsaw. She studied dancing and pantomime, and doing it already during the war – literally underground. She made her stage debut in 1946, having changed many theaters over her 70 years of career. On the screens – since 1953: “The Case to be Settled”, “Ashes and Diamond” by Wajda, “Rainy July”, “Jack of Spades”, “Tonight the City Will Die” – one of the most famous paintings of Polish military cinema, fantastic comedy “The Restless Guest”.

The actress was the winner of a huge number of awards and titles.
