SARAJEVO – Total deposits of domestic sectors in BiH at the end of October amounted to 28.88 billion KM and are higher by 192.5 million KM or 0.7 percent compared to the previous month, the Central Bank of BiH announced.
The growth of deposits on a monthly level was registered in the household sector by 24 million KM or 0.2 percent, private companies by 145.9 million KM or 2.5 percent, and government institutions by 46.7 million KM or one percent.
A decrease in deposits in October compared to September was recorded in non-financial public companies by 16.7 million KM or 0.8 percent and in other domestic sectors by 7.4 million KM or 0.4 percent.
The annual growth rate of total deposits in October was six percent, in absolute terms 1.63 billion KM.
The annual growth of deposits was registered with government institutions for 904.7 million KM or 23.4 percent, private companies for 635.4 million KM or 11.8 percent, non-financial public companies for 245.6 million KM or 14.3 percent, and in other domestic sectors by 142.3 million KM or 8.2 percent.
