Earlier on Friday afternoon, Azhar Zafar Shah, a former dismissed teacher of DU, hit a motorcycle with a private car in front of DU’s Fine Arts. Rubina Akhtar (45) fell from the motorcycle after being hit by a private car. After that, when he fell under the private car, the teacher dragged him through TSC to Neelkhet Mor. When the Neelkhet intersection, the driver was beaten up by the crowd, the car was vandalized by the crowd. Later the police came and rescued her, the doctor on duty confirmed that Rubina Akhter died when the police and her relatives admitted her to the hospital.
Meanwhile, Zafar Shah, a driver and dismissed teacher of DU, is admitted to the hospital after being beaten up. The doctor on duty said that his condition is critical.
