Dell has new computers for students, both of which can withstand falling to the ground

In recent months, students around the world have had to adapt to changes in the way they teach and communicate with classmates and teachers. To deal with the situation, they need the appropriate equipment, so Dell has introduced laptops that should meet their needs. The first is the Chromebook 3100 with LTE and the second the Latitude 3120 with Windows, which offers higher performance.

The Chromebook 3100 LTE is for people who live in places where there is no reliable or no internet connection. Therefore, the device already allows the selection of a mobile operator in individual countries in the basic settings. This computer is equipped with a dual-core Intel Celeron processor, 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM with a frequency of 2,400 MHz, an 11.6-inch HD display and up to two USB-C ports.

The new Latitude 3120 notebook with Windows operating system offers higher performance and speed thanks to Intel Pentium Silver and Celeron processors. It is available in two versions – in the form of a traditional laptop and a 2in1 device. Both support Wi-Fi 6.

Children often treat technology carelessly and do not care what pitfalls they expose it to. Therefore, both computers can withstand a fall from a height of 120 cm to a wooden floor and are equipped with a keyboard that can handle liquid spillage. The Latitude 3120 also has a roughened chassis surface for a more secure grip, and the optional Dragontrail Pro glass display is also more scratch-resistant and better resistant to corner impacts. On the Latitude 3120 2in1, students can use an active Dell pen or pencil to write, take notes, and draw sketches.

The question is whether both computers will be sold in the Czech Republic. We don’t believe that much.
