According to the head, the Minister of Transport Talis Linkays during his visit to Daugavpils took the problem of the technical condition of city buses very seriously, got into the position and supported the project to replace the obsolete bus fleet. This will allow to keep up with the times and develop the infrastructure of urban public transport, says Sergei Blagoveshchensky.
At the same time, the old buses will not stand idle: the company is going to sell them to the so-called secondary market, and they will go to third countries.
For the new buses, the municipality has planned the construction of a special petrol station with a total area of 3,000 square meters in the city. According to the regulation, the new filling station will operate around the clock, supplying buses with compressed natural gas (LNG).
