Copenhagen. Norway will be the last task for the Danish women’s football before this summer’s European Championship finals in England.

This is stated by Dansk Boldspil-Union (DBU) on Friday on its website.

Denmark will face Norway on June 29 in Viborg. Five days before, the Danes will play in the Park for the first time when Brazil comes to visit.

DBU football director Peter Møller is relieved that the women’s national team has now got the final European Championship preparations in place and will play in both Copenhagen and Viborg.

– We are happy that the women’s national team is back in Viborg for the last match before the European Championships.

– Viborg always delivers a fantastic atmosphere, and I am sure that they can give the players a really good experience before leaving for the final round, says Peter Møller.

Viborg Mayor Ulrik Wilbek (V) welcomes the women’s national team to the last European Championship test match on the team’s normal home field in Viborg.

– I am sure that the players are both in top form and are highly motivated so close to the European Championship finals.

– It will be a huge pleasure for us to get the team home to Viborg and send them off to England in style, says Ulrik Wilbek.

Norway is number 11 on the world rankings and is like Denmark in the European Championships, which are played from 6 to 31 July.

Denmark is in a group with Germany, Spain and Finland at the European Championships. The Danes start the final round against Germany on 8 July.
