Dacic: It’s time for the masks to fall

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, said tonight that it is time for the masks to fall and to determine whether Kosovo Prime Minister Aljbin Kurti wants or does not want to form the Union of Serbian Municipalities.

– Every day we live in the problem of whether Kurti will start a conflict again. Instead of normalization, we have further escalation. We have come to the point that the masks have to be taken off – does Kurti want to form ZSO or not – said Dacic.

If Kurti does not want to do that, then, he says, what Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said also applies – that we have not agreed on anything, and if he wants to form the ZSO, then it should be seen on what basis it will be.

– He illegally replaced the Management Team and is thinking about unilateral acts, how to bring the mayors into the offices in the north, and the Serbs will not allow it – said the Serbian minister.

When it comes to the upcoming Council of Europe summit, he reiterated that Serbia is deeply affected by the unprincipled decision of the Committee of Ministers to begin the admission of Kosovo to that international organization.

– In response to that, we prepared an amendment to the Declaration, which talks about the territorial integrity of Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia, as well as all other members, but Germany didn’t like that either – pointed out Dacic.

He added that the ambassador of Serbia to that organization, Aleksandra Đurović, will go to the Summit of the Council of Europe instead of President Vučić.
