Cyclist dies after being hit by a car in Covilhã – Portugal


A cyclist died this Wednesday, in Covilhã, after being run over by a light vehicle, informed the Sub-Regional Command of Emergency and Civil Protection of Beiras and Serra da Estrela.

The accident occurred on National Road 18, where the man was cycling, in the Souto Alto area, which connects the municipalities of Covilhã and Fundão, in the district of Castelo Branco.
