Customizable Simply NUC mini PC with Raptor Lake

The solution with a 4 x 4-inch floor area, which can be hidden in a colorful robe, can be equipped with a Core i7, 64 GB of RAM and a 10 TB SSD.

Simply NUC has started taking pre-orders for a new mini-machine, which presents itself as the latest iteration of an already existing series. THE Topaz 3 named, expected to arrive in April, can be packed with an Intel Core i5-1340P or Core i7-1360P processor, but the other elements of the configuration can also be tailored to our needs.

As standard equipment, 4 GB DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM RAM and 256 GB NVMe SSD are installed in machines sold without the operating system or with different Windows 10/11 versions, including Ubuntu, in which 2 x 4, You can store 2 x 8, 2 x 16 or 2 x 32 GB of memory. There is no shortage of options on the storage front either, as with PCI Express 3.0 our options extend up to an 8 TB M.2 drive, while with the 4.0 standard we start at 512 GB and hit a wall at 2 TB. If this is not enough capacity, the iron can be expanded with a secondary SATA M.2 storage, with a minimum of 128 GB and a maximum of 2 TB.

The wireless network set is represented by an Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6E/Bluetooth 5.3 module, but fans of cable connection will not be disappointed either, as two pieces of Ethernet wink back at us from the I/O section of the motherboard, driven by Intel i225-LM controllers. .

Looking at the exterior of the tiny PC with ventilation slots, we can find two DisplayPort alt-mode USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A connectors and a 3.5 mm combined jack, while at the back there is a DisplayPort 1.4, an HDMI 2.0a, two additional USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A connectors, as well as the two LAN interfaces mentioned above, are stationed outside the connector for the 90-watt, 19-volt power adapter.
