Cuban president says NATO expansion to Russian borders is unacceptable

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel declared the unacceptability of expanding NATO infrastructure to Russian borders.

He said this during a meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Moscow, TASS reports.

According to him, in Cuba’s understanding, the origins of the current conflict lie in the manipulation of the United States, since Moscow warned the world long ago that a NATO offensive to Russia’s borders was simply unacceptable.

He also said that European countries are fully subordinate to the interests of the United States.

Putin, in turn, said that Russia has always opposed restrictions, embargoes and blockades.
