ZAGREB – The Croatian Association of Voices of Entrepreneurs received two misdemeanor charges due to protests held last Wednesday in Zagreb against the measures of the government and the Civil Protection Headquarters.

The association was fined 20,000 kunas (2,643 euros) as the organizer, and Hrvoje Bujas as the president of the association was fined 10,000 kunas (1,321 euros), reports the Index portal.

The misdemeanor order states that they are guilty because they did not provide the prescribed measures of physical distancing and wearing protective masks, and because they did not adhere to the decision prohibiting more than 25 people in the same place.

The portal reminds that a mass was held last night in front of the Zagreb Cathedral, where there were far more than the maximum allowed 25 people.

Among those gathered were Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic Radman, Mayor Milan Bandic, and the director of the Clinic for Infectious Diseases, Alemka Markotic, who called people who violate the measures bioterrorists, adds Index.

But, more importantly, a bunch of people gathered in front of Alemka Markotić, many of whom did not respect the measures, did not keep their distance or all wore masks, the portal concludes. Tanjug
