The journey is relatively comfortable until kilometer 78, without noticeable difficulties, but from that point the road rises for 38 kilometers linking the Cota de Venthon (4 Cat. With 2.5 km at 4.8 percent) with the Col du Pr, the first in the Special Category, with a hard climb of 12.6 kilometers at 7.7 percent.
