Creative has launched the Aurvana Trio Wireless, the most recent addition to its Aurvana series of headphones. The neckband has been renewed and the hybrid triple driver system used in the Aurvana Trio is again used – although the manufacturer indicates that it is better, lighter and wireless.
There are three drivers per earpiece: two for mid and high tones and one for the bass. Connection is via bluetooth 5.0 with aptX Low Latency, aptX HD and AAC audio codecs. The whole is Super X-Fi Ready, a preview version of the ‘Super X-Fi processing technology’, so that sound should sound ‘more spacious’ and ‘more lively’.
When the headset is not in use, the earplugs can be magnetically connected to each other. The built-in microphone supports Qualcomm CVC 8.0 technology, which means that voices should be picked up better. Thanks to multi-point connectivity, the headset can connect to two devices at the same time, which can be useful for switching from smartphone to laptop, for example.
The battery is said to last up to 20 hours on a full battery charge. The Aurvana Trio Wireless retails for $ 100.
