  • 450 g of pasta
  • 2 cups (250 ml) of cooked chicken pieces
  • 1 tablespoon pepper with lemon (or grated lemon zest and ground pepper)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of your favorite spice mix
  • 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped spring onions or leeks
  • 1 large red pepper, chopped into pieces
  • 2 ¼ cups cooking cream
  • 1-2 teaspoons of flour (and more, if necessary)
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil

Mix the chicken, lemon pepper and spice mix in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the bag, wash and drain.

In a large pan, heat the olive oil on a medium temperature, put the chicken from the fridge with spices, onions and pieces of red pepper. Simmer until the peppers and onions soften, then add the garlic and reduce the temperature. Add the cooking cream and flour. Stir until the mixture becomes smooth, then let it simmer for a while until it thickens. Add another teaspoon of flour if needed.

Add more pepper with lemon, salt and pepper – if desired. Pour the warm chicken mixture with the creamy sauce over the pasta and serve warm. You can also grate your favorite hard cheese.
