Covid Bulletin: 68,052 new infections and 140 deaths, hospitalizations are growing

There are 68,052 new cases of positivity to covid-19 (yesterday 61,046) and 140 deaths (yesterday 133), recorded in Italy in the last 24 hours. This is what emerges from today’s bulletin of the ministry of health.

Including molecular and antigenic ones, 445,321 swabs were processed (278,654 yesterday), while the positivity rate, yesterday at 22%, today is 15.3%.

On the health system front, there are 1,351 patients in intensive care, 32 more in 24 hours in the balance between entries and exits. There are 103 daily admissions. There are 12,333 hospitalized with symptoms in the ordinary wards, 577 more than yesterday.

The people in home isolation correspond to 1,111,368 while the total of the currently positive is 1,125,052 people.
