Covid-19. Vaccine self-scheduling available for over 35s from Monday

The self-scheduled vaccine against covid-19 will be available for people over 35 on Monday, said this Saturday to Lusa a source from the National Vaccination Task Force.

The booking of the vaccine for people of this age group can be made, from that date, on the self-scheduling platform of the General Directorate of Health.

The opening of self-scheduling of the covid-19 vaccine for those over 35 will open less than a week after, on June 15, the service was made available to the population over 40 years of age.

The portal for self-scheduling went into operation on April 23, now covering people over 35 years old, after having been opened to people over 40, 43, 45, 50, 55, 60 and 65 years old.

More than 4.3 million people in Portugal have already received the first dose of the vaccine against covid-19, equivalent to 42% of the population, and almost 2.6 million (25%) have been fully vaccinated, according to advanced data in Tuesday by the General Directorate of Health (DGS).
