Covid-19. More than 65,000 doses of booster vaccine given in the last 24 hours

Portugal has already administered 1,411,271 booster doses of the vaccine against covid-19, 65,695 of which on Thursday, according to data revealed by the Directorate-General for Health (DGS) in the daily vaccination report.

Of the total number of people vaccinated with the booster dose, 520,096 are aged 80 or over, 465,240 are between 70 and 79 years old, and 204,132 are between 65 and 69 years old.

Another 4,447 people completed the vaccination schedule. There are currently 8,589,153 people fully vaccinated against covid-19.

The report further reveals that 42,112 people were vaccinated against the flu, bringing the total to 2,015,103.
