Correio da Manhã will have new graphics from January – Meios & Publicidade

Carlos Rodrigues, director of CM/CMTV and general editorial director of Cofina

Easier reading, more elegant design, more news space and a greater number of reading points are the promises of Correio da Manhã, which from next January 9 will appear on newsstands with new graphics. “Our objective is to make it easier and more attractive to read Correio da Manhã, which will continue to have the best information on a daily basis”, comments Carlos Rodrigues, director of the newspaper and general editorial director of Cofina, in statements to M&P, stressing that “modernizing the graphics of the leading newspaper is a huge challenge for the whole team”.

“We want to reach more readers, new readers, because we believe in the future of the written press as an indispensable factor for a democratic society”, points out the person in charge, for whom the renovation of the newspaper’s graphics is also an opportunity “unique, and rare today in day, to put the written press under analysis and debate”.

“The new graphic model of the CM allows for an easier reading of the news, either by way of construction of the page, or by the new format and size of the font”, referred the title of Cofina in a note published this weekend on the website of the diary, where it is anticipated that “this adaptation of the graphic elements, which simplifies reading, is extended to the magazines produced by the CM”, namely the Boa Onda, Vidas and Domingo supplements.

In addition to making it easier to read, the objective is to make Cofina’s diary “more attractive and captivating”. “The news maintains the commitment that we have always assumed with our readers, rigor, novelty, restlessness, always going further, no matter who it hurts, but the space destined for them now gains another elegance”, he assured, on the same note, Correio da Manhã, which will also have a graphic layout “structured and conceived to guarantee more news space, without compromising the attractiveness of the pages and ease of reading”. The new graphics will also make it possible to increase the volume of news published and topics covered by ensuring “more reading points”.
