Coronavirus in Ukraine: Lviv hospitals are almost 95% full

Medical institutions in Lviv due to the coronavirus pandemic are nearly 95% full, although a recent decrease in the incidence rate has been recorded in the city. This was reported by the press service of the Lviv City Council.

The head of the city health department Vladimir Zub said that the incidence rate remains at a high level.

“Now we see a certain stabilization. But this does not mean that the situation has declined, because a lot of patients come to our hospitals every day, in fact, today we have 95% occupancy in urban facilities, ”said Tooth.

He added that patients are discharged from hospitals every day, “but at the same time exactly the same amount comes to us.”

It is indicated that now in the Lviv ambulance hospital there are 70 people, more than 80 in the 1st hospital, and another 70 patients in the 8th city hospital.

So, in the region over the past day revealed 153 new cases of coronavirus. Of these, 54 – in Lviv. According to Tooth, last week about 70-100 new cases were recorded in Lviv.
