In the last 24 hours, 6,291 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, of which 93 are of reinfected patients, tested positive for more than 180 days after the first infection. .

COVID deaths

Between 09.11.2021 (10:00) – 10.11.2021 (10:00) were reported by INSP 405 deaths (216 men and 189 women), of which 8 prior to the reference interval, of some patients infected with the new coronavirus , hospitalized in hospitals in Alba, Arad, Argeş, Bacău, Bihor, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Botoşani, Brăila, Braşov, Buzău, Călăraşi, Caraş-Severin, Cluj, Constanţa, Covasna, Dâmboviţa, Dolj, Galaţi, Giurgiu, Gorj, Harghita , Ialomiţa, Iaşi, Ilfov, Maramureş, Mehedinţi, Mureş, Neamţ, Olt, Prahova, Sălaj, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Suceava, Teleorman, Timiş, Tulcea, Vaslui, Vâlcea, Vrancea and Bucharest.

Of the 405 deaths, 1 was registered in the age category 10-19 years, 2 in the age category 20-29 years, 3 in the age category 30-39 years, 16 in the age category 40-49 years, 31 in age category 50-59 years, 95 in the age category 60-69 years, 147 in the age category 70-79 years and 110 in the age category over 80 years.

365 of the registered deaths were of patients who presented with comorbidities, 12 deceased patients did not register comorbidities, and for 28 deceased patients no comorbidities have been reported so far.
8 deaths were reported prior to the reference interval, occurring in the counties of Argeş, Constanţa, Galaţi and Ilfov, in October 2021 and November 2021. 397 deaths were reported in the reference interval.

Out of a total of 405 patients who died, 357 were unvaccinated and 48 were vaccinated. The 48 vaccinated deceased patients ranged in age from 10 to 19 years and over 80 years. 47 of the vaccinated deceased patients had comorbidities, and no comorbidities were reported for 1 patient.

ATI situation yesterday

In the specialized health units, the total number of persons hospitalized with COVID-19 is 17,438. Of these, 1,823 are hospitalized at ATI.

Out of the total number of hospitalized patients, 310 are minors, 286 being hospitalized in wards and 24 in ATI.

COVID tests yesterday
To date, 10,476,663 RT-PCR tests and 4,788,868 rapid antigen tests have been processed nationwide. In the last 24 hours, 18,259 RT-PCR tests were performed (10,350 based on case definition and medical protocol and 7,909 on request) and 36,077 rapid antigen tests.
