Cooler Master has launched a really special PC case, which is not a case. At first glance, it is more of a benchtable. But you can easily transform it into an unusual cabinet that can be placed on a table or even mounted on a wall. Does it have a chance to attract conservative users?
A bold product just for someone
The product of today’s test is very unusual, although it is basically a computer case, but it is not a case in the true sense of the word. It is not a closed cabinet, but rather a kind of frame that you can use in two ways. Either as a standing computer case with glass or as a classic benchtable. There is a lot of common benchtables on the market, but none can be used without modifications as a common cabinet with a common mounting of components. This is what Cooler Master MasterFrame 700 brings. But it is clear that this is a special product just for someone.
At first glance, it is clear that the components are not fundamentally protected against external influences, especially dust. Although a cover glass can be used, all other sides remain open or perforated in some way. Noise must also be taken into account, there is no noisier fan to close it, you have to choose components with the lowest possible noise.
For 4690 CZK it is also a very expensive wardrobe, when you can buy even very decent, classic wardrobes for half. It’s more of a benchtable for enthusiasts, I can’t imagine anyone putting this on the wall and blowing dust from everything inside every week. Moreover, it cannot be silent under any circumstances, perhaps only after fitting only passive components. But we will talk about this later in the article.
At first I was embarrassed by the cabinet, I got the opinion that it is more of a benchtable and the vertical position is in the number, but the more I dealt with the product, the more the opposite impression was made. On a benchtable, the product is very heavy and very perfectly processed, despite the high price. From personal experience, it seems to me that Cooler Master is aimed at other users.
Rather, the manufacturer expects to serve as a computer case in which your quality components stand out, including lighting of all kinds, water cooling hoses and luxurious interiors. Mounting on a table or wall is what the manufacturer intended. I will use MasterFrame as a benchtable. In today’s test, we will find out whether it will interest you as well.
