Convert Word documents into PowerPoint presentations

Microsoft is testing on the web application of Word a new function very useful, called Transform, which allows you to convert a text document into a presentation of PowerPoint, adding a design theme.

Unfortunately for now, this feature can only be used by participants of the Office Insiders program and in English.

To use Transform, click on the File menu. There you will find the function Transform> Transform PowerPoint presentation. and of course they must do it when they are editing the document.

The use is very easy and after performing the previous step, the user must choose a theme for the PowerPoint presentation. The result will be hosted in the user’s account on OneDrive.

When finished, the user can check the presentation using PowerPoint.

For now this function is basic, but when it is released to the general public, it will probably include some more advanced features and among them Microsoft indicates that they will use Artificial Intelligence to create presentations based on sections of the document, with images, videos and other elements such as the possibility to change the font, include icons and more.

Good news that adds to the already established possibility of being able to transform a word document into a web page.
