2,000 medical practitioners are needed for comprehensive testing. Which is seven times less than was needed in November. This was stated by Prime Minister Igor Matovič (OĽANO) after the government meeting on Wednesday, stating that a total of approximately 4,000 health professionals are needed for testing, but 2,000 of them will be medical students. He confirmed that nationwide testing will be.

To work only with a blue certificate

In connection with the exhaustion of medical staff for testing, Matovič claims that they are “Superficial, emotional practices and manipulations”. He reminded that not a single medical professional was forcibly at the collection site during the first comprehensive testing and will not even have to be notified. “The law is built so that we can now do the collection point with one paramedic,” noted the Prime Minister.

For next weekend’s testing, Matovič estimates 4,000 collection points, which will be made in addition to the already existing mobile collection points.

People should go for testing according to time slots, so that unnecessary advice is not created and people do not freeze outside, Matovič explained. The blue certificate will also be a condition for entering employment. He noted that after the first round of testing, people should not “dream” about open stores.

The Prime Minister announced the nationwide testing after Monday (January 11) government meeting. It should be repeated in the districts until the incidence level falls below 0.5 percent.
