If you deal with issues of environmental protection and climate change and are registered as a citizens’ association/civil society organization in the Republic of Serbia, you meet the conditions to apply for the Strategic Grant Program in the amount of a maximum of 18,000.00 euros.
ACTIONS OF SERBIA IN THE FIELD OF ENVIRONMENT, NATURE AND CLIMATE – SAFE NATURE AND CLIMATE is a WWF project through which we aim to form a network of civil society organizations in Serbia, which will implement sustainable ideas in the field of environmental and climate protection, and strengthen your capacities so that you become an important interlocutor in the further creation of policies in this area. The project was supported by the EU through the Civil Society Support Program.
WHAT DOES STRATEGIC GRANT IMPLY?
The CSO support program includes:
- financial support for the implementation of a project in the field of environmental protection in the maximum amount of €18,000.00 per project;
- strengthening of financial, programmatic and operational capacities;
- thematic networking of CSOs, institutions and domestic and international organizations.
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM
Apply if you have a project proposal that contributes to the following goals:
Objective 1: Research and analysis of shortcomings in the management of policies and regulatory frameworks related to environmental protection and climate change.
Goal 2: Advocate for correct and effective local and national environmental and climate change policies and practices.
Goal 3: Promoting dialogue and active engagement of citizens as a prerequisite for setting up effective environmental reforms and policies for EU accession.
WHO CAN APPLY?
The invitation is intended for CSOs that are registered in Serbia and deal with the topics of environmental protection and climate change.
DEADLINE FOR PROJECT CONCEPT SUBMISSION
The competition for the submission of the project concept is PERMANENTLY OPEN until June 19, 2023, until 3:00 p.m.
