Suara.com – PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) is increasingly closely synergizing with various universities. This time, the company cooperates with the Open University (UT) to expand access for the entire academic community at the institution to banking products and services at Bank BTN.
Bank BTN President Director Haru Koesmahargyo said, with this collaboration between Bank BTN and UT, all UT permanent employees, both those with State Civil Apparatus (ASN) and non-ASN status, can enjoy various banking facilities from Bank BTN.
“We make sure that all UT permanent employees can enjoy the Home Ownership Credit facility [KPR] BTN, light credit for employees, and various other loans with easy and affordable schemes,” Haru explained after signing the PKS text between Bank BTN and UT in Jakarta, Wednesday (23/6/2021).
According to Haru, through this collaboration, Bank BTN offers its flagship product, namely the payroll and credit bundling program titled BTN Solusi. This program offers a solution for UT to manage employee payroll while providing various benefits that can support the financial needs of the agency and its employees.
In addition to opening up opportunities for UT employees, he continued, Bank BTN will also provide banking facilities for university students. “We understand that most UT students are workers, so we try to provide banking facilities that can support their activities, both as workers and students,” Haru explained.
Currently there are around 1,700 employees and lecturers under the auspices of UT. The university, which is led by Ojat Drajat as Chancellor, has been operating since September 4, 1984 and has 4 faculties which are conducted openly and remotely.
