CNN Portugal will feature Brands with History – Meios & Publicidade

Marcas com História is the name of the program that premieres this Saturday on CNN Portugal. According to Media Capital’s information channel, the format, which is presented as a documentary series and will be broadcast monthly, “will tell the story of brands that are inspiring for the country and for the Portuguese”, focusing “on the origins of each brand and on the challenges they had to overcome”, while “proposing a deep reflection on how each brand projects itself into the future”. Marta Leite Castro will lead the format.

Nuno Santos, director of CNN Portugal, says that “with this content we reinforce our offer of national production, but above all we solidify the relationship with brands that, due to their innovation and strategy, have long been present in the lives of the Portuguese. For us, this connection with the market is complementary and very important”.

The documentary series is a production by WLP Innovation, directed by Ricardo Gonçalves, whose main intention is “to create a storytelling capable of connecting people with the brand, appealing to their memories and experiences. The humanization of the stories, projects and brands that we want to (re)discover is another of our priorities. They are documentaries with a face and people inside, just as CNN has always accustomed us to.”
