PD Park said, “Mr. Choi said, ‘There was a bunch of old 10,000 won bills piled up in my father-in-law’s house in Yeonhui-dong, where I don’t know where they came from. Since the old bills could not be used as they were, the daughters-in-law gathered and mixed them with the new bills of 10,000 won and repackaged them,’ he said.

At the same time, he said, “Mr. Choi vividly told me about his experience, ‘I am afraid of bugs, but I had to force myself to do it. On the next broadcast on the 19th, he predicted, “I will tell you something important about how (the slush fund) was hidden and why the prosecution could not find it.”

The time of ‘new bundle of money’ that Mr. Choi said is expected to be around 1994. The 10,000-won bill, which first appeared in 1983, was added with an anti-counterfeiting hologram in 1994. Then, in January 2007, it was changed again to a new design.

The reason why this period is considered to be around 1994 is because Jeon Jae-yong entered into a common-law relationship with talent Park Sang-ah from the end of the 1990s. In 2007, when the 10,000 won bill of the new design came out, Park Sang-ah gave birth to her daughter and was treated as her second daughter-in-law.
