Chris Lund Søndergaard will be responsible for SME sales and B2B marketing in Telenor

New profile to attract more customers to Telenor’s business business

Chris Lund Søndergaard will be responsible for SME sales and B2B marketing at Telenor, where he will further strengthen the commercial business based on his many years of experience in the field, most recently as sales manager at Fibia.

42-year-old Chris Lund Søndergaard is from Monday 3 October employed as Head of SME Sales and Business Marketing in Telenor Denmark. From now on, he will be in charge of all Telenor’s sales activities for small and medium-sized companies and marketing campaigns aimed at business.

Based on his many years of experience as sales manager in Lyreco, Brunata and most recently in Fibia, one of Chris’ most important tasks will be to strengthen Telenor’s profile vis-a-vis the B2B segment with a view to attracting more business customers.

In addition to his sales and marketing background, Chris also comes to Telenor with a good knowledge of the telecommunications industry. Earlier in his career, Chris has been employed in the industry on several occasions, i.a. as a salesperson and later manager of Telenor’s business store in Skovlunde, where he also grew up.

“I am very much looking forward to the work to further strengthen Telenor Erhverv’s position on the Danish market together with the rest of the team. Through my previous jobs in e.g. At Telenor, I got to know the telecommunications industry as a dynamic industry with high competition, which is why good customer experiences are also something that I want to focus on. In addition, I am also very much looking forward to once again becoming part of the Telenor family and the special culture that prevails in the company,” says Chris Lund Søndergaard.

“It is a great pleasure to have Chris on board the team Telenor Profession. It is important once in a while to bring in people from outside who can help find new ways to develop the business. Therefore, it will also be one of Chris’s first tasks to look at our processes with fresh eyes, where he has been given a major mandate to challenge the way we usually do things,” says Mikkel Kruse, business director at Telenor.

Chris takes over the position from Germanos Kayyal, who quit at the end of July. Chris will work at Telenor’s office at Frederikskaj in Sydhavnen in Copenhagen with direct reference to Business Director Mikkel Kruse.

Chris grew up in Skovlunde outside Copenhagen. Today he lives in Hillerød with his two boys and uses, among other things, free time as a football and boxing coach.
