A car was stolen earlier today in Montemor-o-Novo, in the Évora district, with a seven-year-old boy inside, who was abandoned in Lisbon, more than 100 kilometers from the place of the theft, said a source of the GNR.

The theft of the vehicle occurred next to a restaurant, where the car was parked, while “the child’s mother went to the establishment to fetch a meal”, having “left the car with the key in the ignition,” explained the source. GNR.
