The Changwon City Council plans to provide a venue for sharing policy proposals between the standing committee and the children’s council and to support the policy presentation meeting system.

Starting with the launching ceremony on the 17th, the Children’s Council discovers agendas and proposes policies through a total of 10 standing committee meetings and democratic capacity-building education.

The contents discussed at the Children’s Council will be forwarded to the relevant departments of the city and reflected in the city’s children’s policies after review by the departments.

Chairman Lee-geun Kim said, “I am delighted to cooperate with Masan YMCA to expand the basis for local children’s participation in policies.”
