Changes in the plans for the Moravian Corridor

A tender has been announced for amendments to the Spatial Plan of the special purpose area of ​​the E-761 highway infrastructure corridor, Pojate-Preljina section.

Pojata intersection

In the tender announced by the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, it is stated that it is planned reconstruction of the existing uneven Pojata intersectionof the “trumpet” type, in order to enable the connection of the E-75 highway and the planned Moravian Corridor.

In its report, the Revision Commission for the Expert Control of Technical Documentation concluded that the uneven intersection, in terms of its functional level, does not correspond to the type of intersection that can be applied for the intersection of two highways and that before the implementation of the project, it is necessary to re-examine the possibility of changing the planning document, which would more effectively solve the type of intersection, eKapija states.

It is also stated that state road II order no. 158 intersects with highway E-761 (Moravian Corridor), so it will also be covered by the new technical solution of the uneven Pojata intersection.

The new leveled intersection “Pojate” will include new cadastral parcels on the territory of the Municipality of Ćićevac (KO Pojate) and on the territory of the Municipality of Paraćin (KO Drenovac).

Crossroad Koševi

In the tender, it is stated that in accordance with the Spatial Plan and Conceptual Project, the connection of the future highway with Kruševac is achieved through two leveled intersections – “Kruševac East” and “Kruševac West”, while in the direction of the growth of the station of the future highway, there is a leveled the “Velika Drenova” intersection, which enables the connection of the Moravian Corridor with the state road IIA order no. 187 and the settlements on the left bank of the Zapadna Morava river.

– However, settlements on the right bank of the river, as well as the municipalities of Aleksandrovac and Brus, are prevented from using the intersection in question, bearing in mind that there is no bridge over the Zapadna Morava river. The access of transit traffic from this suburban zone to the future highway is possible only through the uneven intersections “Kruševac East” and “Kruševac West”, passing through the urban zone of Kruševac, which will cause problems in the flow of traffic in Kruševac – it is stated in the technical specification of the work.

To solve this problem the construction of a new uneven intersection is required at km 29+000 self-whore E-761, in the area of ​​the Koševi settlementand before crossing the highway on the left bank of the Zapadna Morava river.

The new uneven intersection in Koševi will be designed on the E-761 highway and connected to the state road IB-23, it is stated.

Maskare pedestrian suspension bridge

Due to the works on the hydrotechnical arrangement of the Zapadna Morava river, as stated in the tender, it is necessary to demolish the existing pedestrian suspension bridge which is located on the territory of the municipality of Ćićevac, which connects the village of Maskare and the town of Stalać.

– In order for the local population not to be denied the opportunity to cross the Zapadna Morava river, it is necessary to amend the planning document foresee the possibility of building a new pedestrian bridge.

Unleveled intersection of Kamidzor – Sirca overpass

According to the existing planning documentation, the construction of a bridge over Zapadna Morava is planned, but not an overpass over the highway at the station km 77+400, which would connect the local settlements of Sirča with Kraljevo, reports eKapija.

The proposal of the designer and the Corridor of Serbia is to change the access solution to the Sirča settlement in the zone of the uneven intersection “Kamidžora”, which implies extension of the planned bridge over the future river bed of the West Morava, so that the future highway is bridged at the same timeand that in this way a direct connection of the local road for the village of Sirča with the access road to the future uneven intersection “Kamidžora” is realized.

Additional channels for the highway drainage system are also planned.
