CCP Festival returns to face-to-face format and takes place again in the summer – Meios & Publicidade

After two editions sent to the autumn and confined to digital format, the Clube de Criativos festival returns this year to face-to-face format and takes place again in early summer, between June 28 and July 7. “In this 24th edition of the festival, the management of the Club presents a program that includes a gala and the presentation of awards in person, thus demarcating itself from two years of confinement where the events took place online”, announces the CCP in a statement.

We will always have Mars is the theme chosen for this year’s edition of the festival and the Lisbon Creative Week, which aims to be “a reflection on the path we want to follow as creatives in Europe and in the world of the 21st century”. It was up to designer João Faria, from Drop, to materialize the theme in the festival’s graphic identity in 2022.

“The limit proposition pointing to Mars resets the question of the desert island (however disappeared underwater): what to take to the red planet? The answer (only) may be to take it all, leave nothing behind. The impossibility in the impossibility, refusing to exchange this Earth for any other”, comments the designer about the work developed for the image of this edition, highlighting a particular detail: “In the attempts to find an accurate representation of the planet, the opportunity arose to honor Shigeo Fukuda, a designer who so well knew how to graphically reflect on universal values, such as peace, at a time when Hiroshima returns to the topic of the day.”
