Casa Fernando Pessoa wins the 2021 Museum Award
This Friday, Casa Fernando Pessoa was distinguished with the 2021 Museum of the Year Award, awarded by the Portuguese Association of Museology (APOM), announced the organization.
The award was announced during a ceremony held at the Museu de Marinha, where a list of 32 awards from the previous year was presented, awarded to museums, projects, good practices, professionals and various activities developed in the sector, across the country.
The Casa Fernando Pessoa, in the Campo de Ourique neighborhood, is the house that was inhabited by the internationally recognized writer in his last 15 years of life, and presents an exhibition that is divided into three floors: about the life, the work of the poet and even a library specializing in world poetry.
