Carin da Silva wins Sweden’s master chef VIP – cries when she tells what the money will go to

Carin da Silva, 38, stepped into the celebrity world when she appeared as a professional dancer in the long-running show Let’s Dance. Even her brother daniel da silva was a dancer in the program.

Carin was among other things in the first season where she danced with the actor Viktor Åkerblom Nilsson. The pair went far and finished in third place, but Carin won another thing…

Viktor introduced Carin to his good friend Niklas Persson. Today, the couple have been married for 14 years and have two children.

And in addition to dancing, there is another thing that Carin is really good at – namely cooking. It all brought her to Sweden’s master chef VIP where she excelled from day one with her skills in the kitchen. And Carin da silva not only made it far – but she would end up winning the entire baluns.

In the exciting final fought Simon Shield and Carin with beaks and claws to squeeze first place.

Everything from roe to fish, meat and advanced desserts was on offer. The jury was, as usual, noticeably impressed, but Carin had a bit more sting in her dishes and in the end was called out as the winner of Sweden’s Master Chef VIP 2023.

The winner receives the famous statuette and 100,000 kroner to donate to a charity of their choice. And when Carin was going to tell where the money would go, she couldn’t hold back the tears.

– I want the money to go to “Doctors Without Borders” as they do a lot of good. Had I not given birth to my son in hospital, neither he nor I would be here today, she says.
