Campo Pequeno changes its name to Sagres Campo Pequeno

Sagres beer is now part of the name of Campo Pequeno, one of the largest concert halls in the country. The announcement was made this Tuesday, the day on which the space’s programming for 2023 started, in a presentation held before the concert by the English Kooks.

The sponsorship agreement, underlines Central de Cervejas e Bebidas (cited by “Meios e Publicidade”), comes “to reinforce the brand’s support and continuous presence in the territory of music, social and cultural events”.

For Álvaro Covões, manager of Campo Pequeno and director general of the promoter “Everything Is New”, “combining Sagres beer with Campo Pequeno is a successful formula and materializes a proudly Portuguese partnership, with high cultural and emotional value. It will allow to reinforce the programming, in this space that is fundamental in the city and even in the country. Our main objectives are to contribute to increasing the cultural habits of the Portuguese and to consolidate Lisbon as a cultural destination”.

The partnership is for the “long term” and the value of the deal was not revealed.

In the coming months, the now-named Sagres Campo Pequeno will host concerts by the Pixies, Chico Buarque, Jorge Palma and Jamie Cullum, among others.
