This Saturday morning, Caixa Geral de Depósitos held its first all-digital staff meeting. This was the fifth edition of the staff meeting, having registered the participation of about 4500 bank employees. According to the public bank, it was the largest share ever.
The work was chaired by the chairman of CGD’s board of directors, Rui Vilar, with the participation of members of the executive committee, led by Paulo Macedo.
The meeting served to analyze the results of CGD in 2020, as well as the conclusion of the four-year restructuring plan. The institution’s main lines of sustainability, innovation and competitiveness for the near future were also presented.
The transmission took place from LAB – CGD’s innovation laboratory, at the institution’s headquarters, in Lisbon. Diogo Infante presented a reflection on the times of pandemic and confinement.
