Bumba na Fofinha helps Staples deal with boredom in the workplace (with video) – Meios & Publicidade

“Intermitências do Tédio”, a format of short videos marked by a humorous tone, is a new communication project by Staples, the result of a partnership with the comedian and influencer Mariana Cabral, known as Bumba na Fofinha. Produced by Go Solo, the series has six episodes and will be published weekly.

“The purpose of this item arises in response to an ongoing need for Staples to increasingly reach out to audiences between 20 and 35 years old, who are mostly usually impacted by digital communication, and are in a phase where the workplace begins to emerge and impose itself as a reality in their lives”.

The short humor videos portray situations in varied scenarios of a day at the office, such as, for example, “a fateful meeting, a horrible training event, endless team building, with Bumba na Fofinha as the protagonist”.

Sandra Loureiro, marketing director at Staples says that “the purpose is to maintain an emotional connection with this target, who know the brand from their student days and still don’t have children of school age, but who are starting or developing their lives professionals – the intention is to maintain the link between these people and the entire universe of work and office that Staples has to offer. The basis that the brand uses to do this is humor, with the brilliant performance of Bumba na Fofinha.”
